New Year's upper respiratory crud check in thread

I had it a couple weeks ago
It sucks
Took over a week to kick it

I normally get this once a year, but I've had it three times in the last month and a half. I'm getting over the lingering cough from the last one and woke up this morning with another sore throat aka the sign of another cold.

I'm basically working 7 days a week until the end of the month, and pretty much any medicine to control symptoms will kill my focus even more than the cold itself.

I have somd sores that showed up in my right nostril overnight and the lymph nodes in my neck are tender. Other than that I feel fine. I don't know what's going on with them two things though. My life insurance is paid so that's a good thing.

I don't smoke anymore, so I feel fine. Sucks for you.
