Texas & Oklahoma was supposedly seeking to leave the Big12 to go to the PAC12, but then unlike other conferences, where the money from all the bowl games are put in one pot and divided evenly to each school. In the Big 12 Texas gets a larger percent than the other schools. Texas can not even make a bowl game and when the season is over, they will still get the most money.
I am sure their threat to go to the PAC12 had something to do with them getting the biggest part of the pie, but are they really worth it? They wouldn't make as much money if they went to the PAC12, the BIG12 should have called their bluff.
