Are there any parades during the day that will mess up traffic. Coming from airport to downtown around lunch.

No parades, but traffic will definitely suck.

You'll be fine. Probably will take 30-45 minutes around lunch. Anything after 2-3 will be a shite show. I'm leaving work at 1 to beat the rush.
