If only people held Trump to the same standards as a realtor from New Orleans. Trump has made insensitive comments about multiple people who have died but I don’t remember seeing any “outrage” on this board.

Trump is certainly insensitive and bombastic at times, I don’t deny that. But the context and actual words used make a difference.
Could you post an example of Trump’s insensitive comments about someone who died?
I’m having a hard time remembering Trump doing something equivalent to literally celebrating the death of someone he opposed, especially if it was related to a horrific murder.
It’s not like people are being criticized now because of simple insensitive comments. If someone right now were to say, “I never liked that Kirk guy, he was an a-hole, but it’s a shame what happened to him. I don’t condone such violence,” no one would even bother that person.

There's a difference between calling for the boycott of a business because the owner supports a particular candidate and calling for the boycott of a business because the owner cheers on the cold blooded murder of a man over his words.
