Ah, the liberal mindset. Mental illness on display.

Why would anyone risk their life for people who hate them?

I work uptown, where are 10 cops a day guiding traffic at? Which streets?

Need to tear down one statue for each officer short. That'll fix the crime issue.

I wouldn’t do that job for $150,000, and they probably pay less than $45,000.

Agreed. But I think they start around $40k and you could make as high as $60k depending on various degrees or awards/certifications after your first year. Way to little for any police force, let alone NOLA.

They have pledged their swords to the Kingdom of Jeffersonia.

Oaths of fealty have been heard.

This is exactly what every Democrat in America wanted to happen. Since they also occupy these major cities which no longer have adequate police departments, they can find a way to solve this problem. Maybe hire social workers, train them and deploy them to in progress crimes. Let’s see how it works out for them.

$250,000

No less. And even then I'd be looking at the likelihood that I'm gonna take a bullet and weighing my options.

Good. I hope every big city cop leaves for the suburbs and county law enforcement. To hell with the cities. Let them rot and burn.

Id love to apply and be an nopd officer, but they would never take me. Also to the people saying police dont make any money, you are flat out wrong here. Sure, the starting salary isn’t too high, but you move up quick. The highest paid public employee in orleans parish is an nopd officer, FACT!
