If I were the Mayor, I’d be asking the Chief if he presently knew where any other folks who had outstanding warrants were (as that’s part of his J-O-B).

I’d give him some time off without pay to think about it, pending his hearing to keep his job.

I am admittedly not similarly qualified to be the Mayor as is the Statesperson presently holding the position.
