New Orleans is one of the more inclusive places in the south? It’s a shame New Orleans and Atlanta are are such heavily visited and ripe with sports teams, world class events, and tourism. Maybe if we were more like Birmingham, Little Rock, or Jackson we could fly under the radar and only pop into the news when we shoot an unarmed minority, or one of our senators marries a minor.

The fact is, most gay people are suffering from one form or another of severe mental illness and are not the most kempt or health-conscious people you will ever meet- especially in a place like NOLA

Probably why so many Louisiana residents are on Facebook outing outraged about gay people all the time...

I actually think Baton Rouge has a higher AIDS rate than NO. And in 2017 the rate of people getting AIDS has gone down for white and blacks, but remained steady with Asians.

The rate that white gay or bisexual men getting AIDS dropped by 14%, remained stable with black gay or bisexual men..

But has actually gone up amount drug users who use needles.
