Quite frankly the problem in this election had nothing to do with the idiots who vote blue and more to do with the idiots who stayed home rather than going vote red

I think the biggest issue is that a large majority of red voters have moved out of New Orleans. Id be very interested to see how many red registered voters are in the city now compared to the past 15-20 years.

Only around 270k registered voters. Would take close to 55k signatures to recall her.

And then what?

1. The same folks that stayed home and complain about her will stay home again instead of voting
2. There’s still the same lack of a viable candidate running against her
3. The large number of her constituency that didn’t turn out knowing she’d win will turn out and get her re-elected anyways.

I can’t believe Nola elected that dumbass again. Was there not at least a more likeable black democrat they could vote for?

If they didn’t care the wouldn’t vote. You’re confusing uninformed with not caring.

75% of the registered voters in Orleans parish didn’t vote yesterday. You’re wrong. Sit this one out

I'm surprised she only got 64% of the vote with no recognizable political names running against her. It was virtual unknowns running against her (and apparently, Manny Chevrolet). As bad as she is, I expected her win to be much bigger due to how New Orleans always votes for the incumbent governor no matter how they perform and she had no realistic competition. A decent amount of people were going in the booth and voting for anyone but her.

One of the lowest turnouts ever.

Less voters voted in this primary than voted in the last primary. NOLA voters don’t give a shite

What percentage of that do you think are registered Republican? And what percentage do you think even continue to live in the parish?

The point is it’s not that people don’t care. It’s that they’re either uninformed to begin with or smart enough to recognize New Orleans is a total lost cause.
