I guess you are ignoring my question. What happens after we 'accept' that we've been keeping the black folks down?

So glad Im white. Jealousy must really suck.

quote:and they have an overwhelmingly larger populace in this country, so that makes sense to anyone who's not a racist.
Whites have a overwhelmingly majority of the distinguished alums and graduates from these elite universities, so naturally they will have the most legacies.
wouldn't that be weird to see all college yearbooks with half of the distinguished alumni as black people in a country where they're something like 13% of the population? that'd mean they're extraordinarily overachieving and outpacing the rest of civilization.

Sad but true
Our Country is finished

Once we raise awareness enough then we as a society can start to have a real national conversation about the discussions that need to take place in both our homes and governments in order to ensure that our communities can begin to heal in ways that benefit all not just some.

I'd rather they just do something like take 7 random strangers and make them live, work, and drink together and just see what happens.

Ugh. Why can't members of the aa community blame themselves for their own shortcomings.
Then when there is a successful black man or lady they are ridiculed and called uncle toms.
What's worse thn that is the overly sensitive white liberals that buy into their bullshite

Dude that's how we got the reality TV craze. Honestly I'd rather listen to this nonsense than go through another fifteen year run of nothing but reality TV on every channel in television.

I wish they'd make a show about black and (illegal) Hispanic people and show all the bad stuff they've done to the country
Oh wait that's called the nightly news

So never, if that what it takes.
Some people need to start in their homes, I agree on that. But, there are many homes that don't need to do this, They've learned about such issues (in their house, not on the streets), and how to appropriately deal with it for a long, long time. You can bring a horse to water...
As far as healing, as long as we have a super racist president, always stirring the pot, the US will have this issue. Thankfully, he will be gone soon.

Because taking responsibility for your own actions is too hard. Much easier to pass the buck and to blame someone else.
When blaming others becomes too hard, just make up some invisible scapegoat like 'privilege' to blame

This show is a Hispanic guy targeting whites. Where are the black people?
Posted on 7/9/15 at 3:28 pm to Sparkplug#1
Dude, it was a long winded nonsensical statement trying to make fun of the people who think complaining about shite will solve shite.
Typically if someone mentions "awareness" or "having a conversation" then they don't have any solutions they just love rambling about problems. And they get off on people listening to them ramble.

You're right. This whole thread has been about black people when it's a Hispanic person hosting it. Shows how some people really think

When you get serious it feels like when Silent Bob talks in Chasing Amy.
