The 1st time I went to NJ with my roommate from there and we got gas I asked quietly "so are you supposed to tip them or whar?" and he loudly replied "nah frick em... if they needed more money maybe they should find a real frickin job".
Then the gas pumper said "fack you!" and my buddy replied "nah fack you!"

Yep. I was there on a business trip years ago and pulled up in the rental to get gas. I just got out and started pumping like I have my whole life and this Arab came out losing his shite like I was about to blow the whole place up

I wasn't aware of that until I went to New Jersey several years ago. I pulled up to the pumps and was getting ready to put gas in my car, then I was stopped by an attendant telling me I couldn't pump my own gas.
On the flip side of that I don't know of any place in Baton Rouge or surrounding areas that does pump the gas for you, some women would probably like that.
New Jersey having a law that bans the consumer from pumping their own gas is laughable.

it really is - I was there on business many years ago and the attendant got super pissed off at me for trying to pump my own gas - I had no idea it was against the rules.

I take my wife’s cars and put gas in them for her when low. She loves that I do that for her.
And if I’m with her and she’s driving, I get out and pump the gas.
One time I saw one couple pull up and she got out to pump the gas. The dude just sat there on his phone. Pathetic.

There used to be a place in Monroe on Forsythe that would pump the gas for you
