re: New Hardcore history today

Not his best work IMO. It was good, but I think because it bounces around so much in time and geography, it loses a bit of the luster.

It’s certainly interesting, and had some graphic depictions. The idea and human philosophy on the subject could certainly be delved into more depth.

I kept finding myself asking “if there was an announcement of a public execution today, would anyone go?” At first I’d think, sure, some weirdos and internet sickos, etc. But the way he kind of addressed it at the end seemed about right. Would certainly be an interesting human experiment.

I enjoyed it, but not on the level of Armageddon. But he may never beat that. I was interesting to me because I wrote a paper in college on the use of the death penalty and was it an effective deterrent.


Also, anyone checked out the HH Addendum shows yet?
