I'd like to get one of these old chevy trucks

I wanted one like that in high school that was all white. Never filled that dream. I do have a '99 Silverado regular cab short bed 4x4 with 5.3 I'm still driving since then. I keep it immaculate. I still get the occasional, "Do you want to sell your truck?" I love old Chevy tucks

Did you get the 2.7L engine? What kind of gas mileage are you seeing? I drove a 2.3L model Ford and a 2.7L GMC. Was blown away by the GMC’s power but I heard the 2.7L Ford is a great engine too.

I have the 2.3. My use case is very light duty, occasionally tow a lawn trailer with a zero turn on it. Stuff around the yard. Taking off trash. Occasional hauling something for my sons or myself.

I got the 100k bumper to bumper warranty (I drive maybe 15-20k a year) because of the tech and the turbos.

Ranger just switched to a brand new turbo engine for ‘25 model year.

No, it didn't. The 2.7 V6 TT is the same engine that has been in the F150 and Edge Sport since 2015. The Explorer ST's 3.0TT is a larger version of the same engine. Very well-proven with many 200k-300k mile examples around.
