Sales of adult incontinence garments in the U.S. could equal those of baby diapers in a decade.

Baby Boomers shitted on the economy now they're shitting in their pants. I hope they die of diarrhea.

To hell with this. I would like to die with a little dignity. Not while drooling on myself while shitting my pants paying some nursing home to babysit my arse.

Modern medicine has lengthened our lives but I seriously question the quality and cost of that extra time.

I'm right there with you, Pax. I've seen and am currently seeing elderly family members whose lives have been extended past their normal expectancies by modern medicine. It's often not a pretty picture and when my time comes I hope to make a dignified exit.

Saw it first hand with my mother in law with lung cancer for four years. Without treatment she would have died within a year. Instead she had debilitating chemo, lost her hair, was constantly nauseous, became a shell of herself, and died after three years of hundreds of thousands of dollars (most of which was taxpayer money) spent on treatments. I'm not sure that's a way I want to go out.

They are marketing these to women in a big way. Apparently some women who have had children tend to pee a little when they laugh, sneeze, or exercise.

ETA: Also men who have had prostate surgery. I knew one old feller who didn't let it stop him from hitting the bars. He'd run his game on sloots while rocking the Depends.
