Good tradeoff.

A cure for dementia or cancer? frick no, let’s spend our time and money researching shite that could be solved with diet and exercise because it’s lucrative

We now hate Ozempic Statins Beta blockers Diabetes meds for kids Sleep apnea masks We like Peptides from China for limp dicks Testosterone meds from men’s wellness docs
None of those address the root cause of the problem, they just treat the symptom and have major side effects. Eat properly and most of it goes away. On the other hand you can easily eat yourself INTO diabetes, high cholesterol, ED, etc.

but for some those changes aren't enough, and they need pharmaceutical help.
Why aren’t the changes enough?

Side Effects: Your dick falls off. Small price to pay for heart health, so they say.

Because not a single $ has been put to use towards cancer research.

According to the National Cancer Institute (NCI), the estimated annual spending on cancer research in the United States in fiscal year 2023 was approximately $7.7 billion. This includes funding from both public and private sources.

This could be a monumental gamechanger, Wonder what the side effects down the road will be?
Only problem I see is the reports of tests that show high cholesterol has no effect on heart issues. Sorry.

Eli Lily didn’t develop it. They don’t “develop” anything. They buy academic research that is already developed and then find ways to mass produce it.
That’s the ironic part of people attacking academic research. This type of thing won’t exist if you cut out that type of funding.
That said, siRNA is a gene silencing approach. It doesn’t make your body produce proteins/express a gene. It binds to mRNA the body made and triggers a response by the body to destroy that copy. Very specific if made right, but yes the Pureblood covidiots will stay away from this if they aren’t hypocrites since all this stuff is evil and meant to control them.

Are you dense? That’s not the point. We don’t need “cures” for high cholesterol. That’s a treatment. If there was a cure for cancer or dementia, an actual cure, pharma companies would bury it

Sure Jane.

Is that supposed to be a gotcha? We’ve sent more money overseas. We spend over 100 times that on defense spending.

Nah. Just annoyed by the new Amish recruits who spend their days shite posting about the "failures" of modern science and technology from their smart devices

Yes, because the two are mutually exclusive.
Btw, there’s an already treatment and a cure for high cholesterol. Tell me, what the available cures for dementia?

Until they come up with a solution for alziz or dementia, I just can't get that excited about something like a miracle cholesterol drug.
We all need a way out of the world. Take away something like heart failure and you might find yourself having to die slowly over 5 years in your 90's from brain rot.

There’s not much diet and exercise can do for dementia. Cholesterol on the other hand…. Just funny to me that in 2025 people still shill for big pharma
