As per usual, all it takes is one knucklehead to ruin things for everyone else.

Yeah that 250 ain’t going to fair too well. My Lexus would do better with air conditioned seats and billjaminaxxon watching YouTube travel ball videos in the backseat eating snacks.

I thought the story on this was someone left the jeep in N and it got away from them.

Yeah, that’s what happened. Woman and a dog went over with the jeep while the driver watched. From my understanding he had gotten out to survey the situation at the switchback, and it started rolling off..

Did a mountain trail run out of Crested Butte in the 1988 period of time. Used a crown Victoria station wagon and went up the face of the mountain.
Got to the top and a bunch of jeepsters cheered.

Never take a Telluride...

I recently rented one of these while I was in Colorado. Even with the auto start/stop feature turned off, the vehicle kept shutting off on its own — it happened at least 7 or 8 times while I had it. Each time, I had to put it in park, turn it off completely, and then restart it. It might’ve been a defective unit, but either way, it was super frustrating.

On top of that, the blind spot indicator didn’t work at all. And twice, while I was on a slight incline, the car actually rolled backward — even with my foot on the brake — because the engine had shut off (like I mentioned earlier). Definitely not great from a safety standpoint.
