Amazon was already starting to take over e-commerce. This potentially makes them bullet proof.

It is interesting that about 15 states have said they will sue the FCC today

Your argument is that a monopoly will always exist so why even try to regulate how that monopoly impacts the markets that it controls?

Well the big dogs will be apart of every basic internet package. Amazon. Facebook. Reddit. Those will not be counted towards your data.

The niche websites, like this one, are where you'll need to have to pay for data to browse.

That's arse backwards. Most people aren't going to pay extra for websites they deem niche and feel they can cut out easily.

Meanwhile most people will pay a decent amount to keep connected to facebook/twitter/etc., Amazon, Google/Yahoo/etc., Netflix/Hulu/Amazon/Sling/etc., and so on.

And if these websites are allowed to pick the ISPs they are on, it will become a nightmare for the consumer.

Meanwhile as alternatives pop up, the ISPs will simply stop carrying them, or freeze out one of the big dogs if a better deal can be had, but eventually it'll lead back to the consumer being screwed.

No my argument is that specifically the telecom industry is deeply rooted and it would take the government to essentially disband ATT and Verizon.

Unless you actually work in telecom, which I think I know of only one other who has, i don’t expect you to understand the depth.

That would be like me trying to project shite about healthcare and the hospital system.

Oh jeez. Oh yes sir. Oh please enlighten me with your precious guarded knowledge oh wise wizard of doucheville. How holier than thou must you be. Unless I install cable for Cox or whatever it is you do I could never understand these intricacies. Its not like I took undergrad courses, grad courses, and law school courses in the history of the telecommunications industry, the FTC and FCC regulations, net neutrality, communications, etc...

That wouldn't be a problem if you spent a few years of your life dedicated to the study of the history of the medical profession, Healthcare, hospital systems, and their regulations.

That rant proved absolutely nothing about your knowledge of how today’s network infrastructure is built, maintained, and upgraded. Also by whom.

Is this really what NN is about though? It’s more policy than tech.

True.

However, let me ask this. If you controlled the whole gaming board. Does it really matter to you what the rules are?
