I always thought Saturday there was no understood rule of 8am because it is the day to get shite done.
Sunday is the day that has the understood rule. Usually 9 am.

Why is this thread so huge? Isn't there a noise ordinance law?

What does "PTO" mean on a riding mower? I think it stands for power take off, but does that also mean automatic transmission? I can't find any small 30" riding mowers that have pto.

this has always been my philosophy, but apparently people get really, really pissed off if you mow your yard when it is not convenient for them

Cut mine @ 7 AM yesterday, there was a window b/w 7-9 with no rain.

Hadn't cut mine in 3 weeks due to being out of town & mower had problems starting. (Cleaned carb changed air filter)

Many churches have services several times a day on Sunday so mow when you want....chances are you will still be mowing during a church service

I would remove the muffler and wait for church service to start.

I mow my long time neighbor's grass when I now mine. She is like a favorite family aunt to us. Only takes about 40 mins or so and I get great satisfaction from the deed. Lucky to have such a sweet lady as a neighbor and friend.

PTOs are essentially accessory drives on a mower, for things like a pull behind bush hog deck or a tiller. Tractor use PTOs to power all of their pull behind accessories.

I am sure he would rather hear the mower too, I can only imagine how tired he must get listening to some hypocrite rambling on about gay marriage and the ten commandments. The gay marriage crap was worth it to watch them motherfrickers squirm
