Do the online application and get prints done at LSP HQ, otherwise you're looking at 10 months to get your permit. 1.5 weeks if you do it the way I described

don't go to any law enforcement office. Go to the State Police headquarters if you are in BR. Get them done electronically, make sure you have done the app online. If you do this it drastically speeds up the process of getting your permit.
