sorry about that ladder comment the other day.

I don't even remember it.

That's not a bad watch at all. And I would wear it. But in that price range, this one is the hands down favorite. It can be had slightly used for around $150:

Of course it's totally different than what I showed you. Flight watch vs dive watch basically. But that Seiko Monster is a whole lot of bang for the buck.

I always felt the hour marks were too big on a monster.

Nice. Thanks.

I think the Fortis Cockpit two will be my next one. It's such a sleek watch.

Looks the be a good watch IMO. I personally hate crono's, but if it's your style then go for it.

I will vouch for Citizen. I have 3 of their watches. All great quality for the price.

It's one of the most modded watches on the market. Make it what you want

I'm not a snob about watches, I like entry level automatics and manual winding watches you can't get in the mall. It's got to have some redeeming quality, preferably in dimensional case design, and a nice dial, that's it.

Modded? Like open up that shite and change it? Nope. Also the bezel ain't that great either. I like slimmer.

Have you owned one? The bezel is pretty nice. And the only flaw I've found is dirt getting between the crystal and the bezel. But a pin or a toothpick fixes that easily.

Dial and hands mostly. I have some modded O&W watches that are cool.

Getting a sterile dial, not branded, is usually the first step.

Play on, playa.

Ol' goofy-arse watch havin' dude.

A space shuttle.

Unless you flew on the space shuttle, you look goofy as hell walking into work with that thing on your wrist

I understand that life hasn't been as favorable to you as it has to me but that's not any reason to let this upset you chief.

Now you are being disingenuous. You know that's a lower priced Breitling.

I think the Omega Speedmaster and Omega Planet Ocean are the best looking chronograph and divers, respectively. Sorry, I'm too drunk to post pics.

I like that Eco and I like mine. But once I saw the automatic movements on some of my purchases, it was hard to go back to a Quartz. From what I've read on here, other forums, and my watchophile buddy, a great watch for that price is a black Seiko 007 or the Pepsi red and blue. People who know watches have them and will likely give you an approving nod if they notice it.

I got the Pepsi, took off the bracelet, and alternate between a camo green ZULU, a white rhino leather NATO, and a distressed brown leather ZULU. I'm not gonna lie, I have stood and checked my wrist out in the mirror on multiple occasions. It gives me a little movement, if you'll forgive the pun. And you can get it for cheaper than that Eco you're looking at. Good luck.
