Does Breitling even have an in-house movement?

Yep, since 2013. Cal B01

ETA: The movement was available earlier but not across multiple lines really. I think they started work on it in 2009

I'd get a Seiko.... SKX007, SARB065, SARB033.

Tissot Visodate is another I like in that price range.

In other words it is a potentially classy watch with lots of overdone shite added to it.

Funky numerals, very busy faces, etc. Garish is the word I am looking for.

Not my thing but hey.

Like what? I'll wait.

Everything is functional.

Wait wait, maybe it's the magnetic pushers on the chrono avenger? Hence never allowing water to enter the case. Or maybe it's the ELT feature on the Emergency. Which has actually saved over a dozen lives. Or maybe that pesky 24 hour dial on the cosmonaute that Scott Carpenter actually used in space.

Nah I'm being stoopid.

I got ya bro.

I like the watch and I like Eco Drives. If you don't care to have an automatic, that's one of your best bets.

I believe that would look fantastic with a leather strap.

I personally have this

on this strap

and I love the way it looks

I am. Feels bad to get outplayed in life by a pre-teen doesn't it?

never owned a watch but thinking about making the plunge. i'd like something popular and cheap so watch snobs like gaston don't question me about the ins and outs of why i chose it. i've seen y'all recommend citizen eco drive for virgins. i think this one looks pretty decent.

bad idea? thoughts? would this look good with a brown leather band? yea i know, "get it if you like it", but if you say it's dumb, i'm not getting it.

sorry about that ladder comment the other day.
