The quickest way would be to borrow/buy a bike and ride down the lafitte greenway thru the quarter and hit Chartres/Magazine back home.

If you have to drive park on the I-10 side of Canal, drive down Carrollton to Washington or Earhart and head home that way.

We always watch on Canal one block south of Carrollton. There's a church there (St. John) that has food booths and bathroom access. I park a few blocks north of Carrollton so I can get back to interstate easier.

It should. I have no idea how bad parking is around banks though.

We live right near Palmer Park off Carrollton and S. Claiborne. For Endymion, we take either the Tulane or Carrollton bus as far as it will go and walk the rest of the way to Canal and Carrollton. Not bad.

I park a few blocks north of Carrollton too, but I would not say it's ever "easy" to get back to the interstate. How do you go?

We used to Park off of Jeff Davis and walk to the route. It was fairly easy to get out via Earhart.

Yes, if you are willing to park closer to Jeff Davis you can take Jeff Davis back over the interstate, make a right on Washington, then another right by Xavier and you are back on the interstate going East or West and you don't have to hit Carrollton or City Park.

We are going to the parade in the Carrollton/Canal area for the first time in many years. If we want to park at Jesuit (lot opens at 9), what time should we arrive to be sure to have a spot. I have no idea how quickly the spots fill, so just trying to get an idea. Thank you for your help!

Thank you. We'll have our 4 year old granddaughter, so we will try that. Hope if we're there by 10:30 parking at Jesuit won't be a problem. Is Butch on the sidewalk or neutral ground side?
