Louie's right north of campus. Then walk over to the Chimes and grab a bar seat for some beers while you wait for your crew.

Definitely the move. You should be able to navigate that early in the day. And then you’ll be in the middle of things as the day picks up.

Overpass Merchant #1

Louie’s or Chimes also great. Louie’s and Chimes right on campus. Merchant just off campus.

Just scoped the menu and this absolutely looks like the move.

Next question. I see a whole lot that looks LEGIT. What's the order advice?

I've never been disappointed with anything, but the Seafood Louie omelet is my go-to.

Enjoy the game and GEAUX TIGERS!

Everyone will say Louie’s for its convenient location but imo slightly overrated

Is that the place that recently got a new owner and has gone way down hill since then?

I've seen the Mitchell get tons of love, but was wondering about the seafood breakfast dishes too.

Glad to hear a yea vote on them also

This will echo a lot of others but anyway

Chimes is my number one recommendation. Best food near campus IMO. Rooftop bar you can get you there and people watch.

Louie's is good but not sure I'd be going there.

Highland coffee is in between those two if you wanna grab a cup to go or stop in. Pretty hipster.

City slice is by there also if you want pizza.

That's all on the North side of campus. Southside there is Walk-ons.

On campus, mike the tiger, Indian mounds. Can probably wonder around tailgate and may get invited from some friendly tailgaters

Still good idea or just roam a bit?

Do you really think you’re getting mugged on LSU’s campus? Are you planning to wear navy and orange?
