Look at Mark Felton Productions on YT. He has all kinds of interesting stories from WWII.

Kid may not have autism. He may just have photographic memory. My son could memorize trivia like that also.

You’re not alone. Do to you tube, my 10 yo knows more about European socio-economic factors that led to WWI/WWII and today than most adults

We are still working on his CFB knowledge!

Even more obscure is he wasn't Japanese, didn't even speak Japanese, he was Amis (the indigenous people of Taiwan. He volunteered to fight for the Japanese army, after he surrendered he went back to Taiwan
