If you have a budget of 600,000, I recommend this

The Crescent at University Lake on Stanford should meet all of your needs.

So you're on here around 445am GB time on a Monday morning?

Well I'm a British university student with a paper due in 2 days so yeah

So you woke up at 5 AM to do your paper and ended up surfing around this cesspool? I think you are going to fit in nicely at LSU!

I'm just playing

I am assuming thought you want on campus housing coming from another country.

Nicholson gateway apartments are very new and are really nice, you would be surrounded by other students. They do have social gathering activities that go on there sometimes. Living on campus anywhere you would still have lots of opportunities. There are non stop events going on campus. That, you will have a lot of opportunities to meet new people and have some fun.

West Campus apartments are nicer/newer than the east campus apartments.

Out of curiosity, what is your major? Some of the dorms/housing at LSU they have the same majors together so you live with people you go to class with.

I'm a business major, specifically marketing at LSU but I'm far from freshman I've attended British university for 3 years now so I don't really want dorms

Remember, you want to be on a street named after a president or an Indian. Honorable people in those neighborhood. You should probably sign a lease to one of those electronically. They are such good deals they get gobbled up fast.

As already mentioned, El Cid is the best apartment complex on campus.

I feel you, not a fan of dorms either.

I was actually in a dorm my freshman year but was on an off campus apartment after. I actually use to live off ben hur for a bit (lots of housing in that area but you would either need to drive or take bus)

Your best bet is those apartments on Nicholson you mentioned, east or west campus apartments, the Venue is right there.

A lot of people I know enjoy park place on E Boyd but that is a little more pricy

I guess they changed the apartments names but Lark Baton Rouge (the standard?) is close to LSU but I don't know how these new people are. That last people who owned those apartments built it so damn cheaply, shite was falling apart year one

great to hear that...tiger stadium is one of the memories that I really cherish from my time at LSU. I have attended most every home game since I graduated nearly 20 years ago. I paid for this coming year's tickets yesterday and am just as excited about the season as I was while I was in school.

There just is nothing like this in the UK, definitely no room for a stadium that seats 100k+. It's sad but UK universities hardly focus on sports, teams are very small. Everything about LSU just looks insane to me, having mike the tiger on campus especially

You should go through rush and join a fraternity. That will give you a more interesting year abroad.
