Just finished The American Story, Conversations with Master Historians which I recommend.
In the middle of Flea: Acid for the children-which is good and I Heard My Country Calling by James Webb.
Others I’m in the middle of age Titan, John D Rockefeller and All Quiet on the Western Front which I’ve read since junior high school.
Making a trip and need a couple. Any suggestions?

The Black Echo is the first book in the Harry Bosch series. It is a cop drama fiction.

If you like star wars, the different audio books are good for traveling. They have sound effects and different voice actors. Stephen Kings Dark Tower series is also a good listen.

Sounds like you might enjoy the unabridged edition of broke back mountain, you won’t be able to quit it.

I was not trying to be a douche. I thought you would get a better response over on that board.

This is right up your alley, Martina.
I’m sure your husband would love nothing more than to be with a financially independent woman.

Ok. The OT has always delivered on a good audiobook thread. I’ll edit.

Great series of books and I’m not a fiction reader for the most part

I enjoyed the David Spade audiobook from Amazon Prime.

I had Prisoners do Geography on an old list. Looked up Accidental Superpower and as a fan of The Next 100 Years by George Freedman I believe I’ll enjoy it.
Downloaded both. Thanks.

Code Talker: The First and Only Memoir by One of the Original Navajo Code Talkers of WWII
Great piece of history. Chester Nez is an American hero.

Hunting Leroux - nonfiction story of how the DEA took down a global criminal that was tech savvy and represented a new type of criminal. I think there will be a movie made (or at least there were talks of one).

Got it. And it’s read by Dennis Boutsikaris so I know I’ll enjoy listening to it. He’s done a lot of narrating as well as acting.
Scrolling through what he has narrated I came across Billionaires Vinegar about the auction of the oldest bottle of wine. I got that one too.
Thanks.
