You don't say how you found out. Big difference on how you found out - was it your wife, a close friend, or you just heard? I'd act like he will and not believe it till you know for sure. If you know 100 percent is true then decide depending on how close you are to him. Also, if so many know why you got to be the one to tell him?

I think you are well within your rights to either say nothing or to sit him down and tell him what you've heard. Don't say you have proof or you KNOW it, just that you heard it and it's something you are bringing to him to check on. That way it's on him to start figuring it out.
