All this "you cain't tell they diff'rent" is goofy.
you're a little behind; the new super clones are 99.9% the same; same steel; same movement..everything.
impossible for dealers to tell the difference even after opening the back unless they are really good.
don't believe the youtube 'oh its so fake' propaganda
this ain't the 'off the street' $50 watch you see in thailand. there's a reason these cost anywhere from $700-$1000 or more.

I dont quite understand your logic.. Help me understand the difference between buying a fake of a $35k piece, or of a $100k piece- i dont get it .
Because it isn't plausible some joe blow driving a 2014 Tahoe in a 400k house has a $100k watch. Now a replica of an $8k Rolex is much more believable nd likely wouldn't be questioned.

What rapper was it , 50Cent that had all the fake Rolexes because he knew everyone would assume they were real?
Chad Johnson the wide receiver only wore fake diamonds because not a soul would question it.

you'd be surprised at the # of "OT baller" types who keep their genuine watches locked up at home and wear replicas out.
nobody is going to think otherwise and they don't have to worry about it getting scratched or stolen.

Maybe someone will send you a complimentary one with a BMW keychain.

ceramic bezels and 904L steel is super inexpensive to copy and its THE SAME THING rolex uses.

Ive got a buddy who bought one from here and has no complaints but I am not a watch guy. Those people freak me out more than vegan cross-fitters

Look at the other ones. Bottom line is, there are fake Rolexes for $250 that you yourself would never be able to recognize.
Rolexes are a waste of money.

Didn’t see them in Chinatown Seattle but maybe I didn’t look well enough

One time I bought a fake TagHeuer outside the Empire State Building. I thought the fake Rolex would look too pretentious.

Women at the hotel bar don't know the difference.
I can't speak to the current crop of women but in the early 80s Atlanta women could spot a fake Rolex at 100 yards. I know this for a certainty because I had one. I was 18 and did not know what a Rolex was, real or fake (folks in my family wore Timex's unless they were successful then they had a Seiko). A friends father gave it to me and told me "Girls will LOVE it". I took him at his word and wore it for a couple of years....by the way it was a pretty good watch LOL. Kept good time and didn't turn my arm green. It did not seem to me, however, that "girls LOVED it". I actually caught girls my age in bars sneaking a couple of glances at that watch and avoiding any contact at all the rest of the night. Sometimes things had been going smoothly with them when they would sneak a glance at that watch, do a second glance, and things would go downhill from there. It may have been that they were put out by my obvious disregard for patent laws and intellectual property such as watch design....I try to think the best of people....but I suspect at least some of them were put out by the watch being fake and me not being a wealthy 18 and 19 year old construction worker. I did not know any better, as I say I did not know what a Rolex was, all I knew it was a pretty good watch that cost me less than a Timex.

Chinatown in NYC
Last time I was there they've got all almost the street vendors off the street and inside, in basements, hidden murder rooms and stuff. It's where suburban white guys like me go to die and have their wife and daughter stolen and sold to Ditty.

I have a few nice watches and wear a Timex Ironman out 90% of the time
8% I wear a Hamilton
1% no watch
1% one of my nice watches

Temu or Mexico… unless you’re willing to wait for oil to get back down to $35/bbl and get a real one locally.
I'd avoid them. I bought my wife one for our 10th anniversary. Very "pretty" watch, damned thing is a double-barreled pain in the arse. It has never kept good time because she has never worn it daily and the watch case I bought her apparently does not move enough to keep the oil in it from gumming up the works. I paid a little over $3k for it in 1994 so it is not an "expensive" Rolex but it is, by all accounts, according the Certified Rolex Jeweler I bought it from, a real Rolex. In the 30 years she has had it we have had to have it "cleaned" several times, basically an oil change....at least 5 but probably more than that. Each time it cost around $800 and took about a month....and it still did not keep time as well as a Seiko. Interestingly enough every time we have had it cleaned the Certified Rolex Jeweler offered to give us what we paid for it in 1994...the original sale is in some sort of Rolex database (wonder if the database keeps time?) if we traded it for a more expensive watch. When they have caught a fish once they apparently like to catch him again and again....

I have a VSF Ceramic Sub and a Gen Ceramic Sub. They are for all intents identical with the exception of the feel of the movement when you wind the replica. I bought the rep first to see if I liked it then got the real deal.

Watch dealer told me TSA/Customs can seize counterfeits and fine you for possession….
Is he FOS?
I would bet he is but technically probably about half full. They can probably, technically, seize them, but fining the buyer would be a difficult thing to do. I buy Cuban cigars from a certified Cuban cigar dealer in Switzerland...well known company, any Cigar smoker who is more than a casual smoker probably knows about them, and their disclaimer says that customs can seize your order but I do not remember it ever saying anything about fining anyone. I may be wrong. I have ordered from them probably 70 times and twice my order failed to arrive. They guarantee delivery but I think you have to wait 90 days (?) if memory serves. Both of those times they said the delivery had been seized but who knows, may have just been lost and they claim them as seized to make it seem possible. I have gotten deliveries from them with a card inside the box that said something to the effect that the package had been inspected by US Customs but they could be doing that themselves to make it seem possible, who knows. They have a stellar reputation. Cuban cigars are, in my opinion, overrated but they make good gifts and are GREAT for promoting a business....folks think you are giving them something they can't buy for themselves.

Thats what the reputable dealer states when busted for selling knock offs. Reputable doesn't mean much in the Jewelry bidness....
