A young woman lost her life and the OT is making fun of her and what happened to her. Gotta love this place. Some upstanding posters.

There was a similar murder in N.O. a few years ago. A couple of weirdos picked up a stripper in the Quarter, promising her $700 for a private party. She was broke, so she went with them. A week later, she was washing up all over the gulf coast in pieces. Her name was Jaren Lockhart.

The two who killed her, Terry Speaks and Margaret Sanchez, almost got away with murder. The cops suspected them, but they wouldn't talk and they had cleaned up the evidence well, so they didn't get charged. Speaks ended up getting sent to NC to serve a year for a probation violation. He talked to a cell mate, I think. That gave the cops enough to offer Sanchez a deal to testify against him. They are both in jail now. I think he got life.

Right, the cops had the three of them leaving the club together on surveillance. After body parts started washing up in Bay St Louis, Pass Christian and Long Beach, they found Sanchez's car on I-10 with traffic cams and license plate readers.

The cops picked them up about a week or so after the murder on a traffic stop in Tangipahoa Parish. Neither one of them would talk. They searched her house in Kenner (the presumed murder and dismemberment scene) and car (that they presumed was used to dump the body) and found nothing to incriminate Sanchez or Speaks. Car and house had been thoroughly douched.

Speaks got sent back to jail for a probation violation because he didn't register as a sex offender when he moved to Kenner. They held Sanchez for like four or five months in Tangipahoa on some bullshite - not kidnapping and murder - until a judge ordered her released.

Eventually, the cops got a small amount of circumstantial evidence from phone calls and emails between Speaks and Sanchez. A cellmate also said Speaks told him details about the murder. When Speaks got released from jail, about 2 or 3 years after the murder, they extradited him to LA. Sanchez testified against him in exchange for a 40 year sentence.

If she doesn't testify, he possibly/probably doesn't get convicted. That's why I said they almost got away with murder.

Everybody believed they did it. But everybody believed OJ was guilty too.

Some sick freaks in this world. God be with this poor family.
