I don't want to split hairs here, but having relations with a 16 year old is not pedophilia. It might be illegal, depending on where you live. But it just doesn't fit the definition. Pedophilia is an attraction to prepubescent children, younger than 11-12. There is another term for attraction to teens 12-14. Which he wouldn't qualify for either. Regardless it is a bit unseemly, but no different than what Elvis or Jerry Lee did and their names are everywhere..
