Is this the same guy someone stole from around last year or so??

If so, really cool guy. It not, still a really cool guy.

I remember the Saints also honoring a really old vet somewhat recently. Possibly this guy?

Skimming through past articles on him I don’t see anything of him mentioning disrespectful treatment at home. Was Austin a hotbed of racism in that time period?

Of course, when honoring an American veteran it’s always important to shite on America a bit, wouldn’t want anyone to forget about racism in their patriotic glee.

A link since you're so confused about Black war veterans:

" No one was more at risk of experiencing violence & targeted racial terror than Black veterans.....Because of their military service, they were seen as a particular threat to Jim Crow & racial subordination.......most Black veterans were not welcomed home & honored for their service....Instead they were targeted for mistreatment , violence, and murder.....Indeed Black veterans risked violence by wearing their Uniforms on American soil".

I read that earlier... Might all be true but it would be nice to have a source without an agenda

" Might be true"?

There are plenty of sources to confirm that the Military uniform could get Black veterans into serious trouble. Especially Jim Crow regions of America.

How are you going to quote my post, yet leave a word right out of the middle?

We all know that sometimes stories aren't told with complete truth, which you might be guilty of,

Cause of Death?

Surely his mouth had simply become a single Cancer at that point right?
