I never realized people were so staunch about this until that thread last week.

I also only thought that little kids ate crunchy peanut butter.

That Peter Pan Honey Roast Crunchy is a main staple in my house. Spread that on some Granny Smith apples, damn that's some good stuff. I eat that straight out of the jar as a snack. It's so good I gave it up for Lent.

Government peanut butter was the bomb when I was a kid. It had that nice oily layer at the top you mixed in. This stuff on saltine crackers was a snack fit for a king.

Butter knife - peanut butter - bread. Done. A breakfast high in protein that will hold you over for hours. It's almost too good to be true.

You are entitled to think that. I was probably 17 before I met any male who preferred creamy to crunchy.

Creamy is for girls, or for gay men.

And I mean in that 1980s version of "gay" like when my older brothers called me gay. Not the modern version, where gay is fine and equal and shite. I mean the bad gay. Like "you are gay". Or "eat this... no it isn't mud, its peanut butter". fricking a-hole older brothers!

That argument is just false. It is quite dissimilar to "eating regular peanuts"

Never heard of refrigerating peanut butter.
Also heard they remove the peanut oil when making it and replace it with a different oil.

Edward "Skippy" Williamson and Frederick "Jif" Armstrong - two white men - stole George Washington Carver's recipe for peanut butter, copyrighted it, and reaped untold fortunes from it. While Dr. Carver died penniless and insane, still trying to play a phonograph record with a peanut.

This has been "Black History Minute". I'm Professor Shabazz K. Morton. Good night.
