Her and her husband's war on drugs have ruined millions of lives. Turning the prison system into the profitable disgrace it is today. I will not mourn her loss

RIP Nancy

While some may not agree with her stance on things politically, you can't ignore that she was obviously very devoted to the love of her life, her husband. And always carried herself in a graceful, classy way. May she enjoy finally being reunited with her love now.

Seemed like a great wife and mother. Keep it classy and keep your politics to yourself.

Is this Nancy Reagan's fault or the fault of our national government for turning this into yet another politician's sandbox to make it what they want? Nancy didn't pass laws or arrest anyone.

War on drugs preceded the Reagan Administration by decades. Just Say No was her pet cause.

Your English has ruined many lives.

And as already stated Nancy Reagan did not make any laws nor has she arrested anyone. Let that ruminate in your pickled brain.

RIP NR!

Yep. But people are reciting what they read on Twitter.

Nancy had the just say no campaign. While unrealistic, it was noble. She never imprisoned a single person for doing coke

Exactly. I don't see how her wanting to encourage schoolchildren to avoid drugs ruined lives. I was a child in the 80s so I remember the "Just Say No" campaigns in schools.

I was a little bit younger so I don't remember that but we had this.

Years later the DARE teacher got busted with drugs

Her and her husbands? They didn't even begin the so called war on drugs, that was Nixon.

No, people ruin their lives by doing drugs. We put them in jail, a safe drug free environment, to rehabilitate them

I don't know what else she did besides push the evil war on drugs.
