I’ll throw out one out of left field. Listened to a podcast with John C. McGinley (the doctor from scrubs) and he is a really good guy. Gave up his acting career because he had a son with Down syndrome and now brings him with him to set now when he does have a role.

He is also very active with the special Olympics and bringing awareness to the public about Down syndrome. Really great listen.

I had to look him up b/c i had heard his name before, but didnt realize he was in the original Red Dawn.. i AM ancient lol

Yep Powers Boothe was also Curly Bill in Tombstone and he was in the movie "Southern Comfort." I just watched it definitely a good movie for Tigerdroppings fans. Always seemed like he was a good guy. And remember, age is just a number!

I can't believe that movie is popular here. When it came out it was vilified in the T-P and elsewhere in S. LA for its portrayal of Cajuns

CLASSIC SCENE: The two heroes end up at a fais do-do (sp?) and one is still nervous. The other reassures him, "Relax, these are the good Cajuns" -- as if there are roaming bands of bad Cajuns terrorizing the bayou

It was recommended to me and described as “deliverance but in Cajun country” (minus the more gruesome scenes)

Yeah I could see how people in S LA didn’t take too kindly to it
