My wife likes football but doesn't know the rules

My wife enjoys watching LSU / Saints (she won't watch iowa or the broncos), but every time we watch a game together she asks the same question about pass interference, holding, illegal formation, overtime, blocks in the backs.
Its really frustraing to me b.c we have watch 8-10 games together a year. How can she have not learned these rules? They aren't hard.
Any other men in the same boat?

Buy her "Football for Dummies" on audiobook, that way she can listen to it while making you a sandwich. She will learn eventually.

She doesn't like football. She doesn't give a shite about eithr team winning or losing. She watches it with you and tolerates it to be a good wife. Like most do.

Mine likes mostly college football, some NFL. She doesn't like to watch non-sec games that much though so she'll do something else if I'm into a Big10 matchup. Knows the rules better than a lot of guys I know.

Women's brains just don't comprehend football the way men's do imo. I love it and been watching and reading about it for years. But I'm still lost on a lot of non obvious stuff
You don't get a manly sense of pride explaining it to her? I like showing off my (limited) football knowledge. Except I'm watching with my mom now and if she says why didn't they tackle him one more time I may scream

her mother knows all the rules, and is a huge fan of the tigers and saints. Probably bigger than most of this board. She even follows recruiting.
