But he didn't go to jail for doing 130 (you could've said speeding, you think it's cool he was driving 130 and not 90). He went to jail for stealing the car. Whether guilty or not, that's what he was charged with, correct? Also you mentioned Audi (could've said car) almost like you think it's cool he took an Audi or that grandma drives one.

Did he ask her if he could borrow the car? If not, then stealing. Aggravated lending would be if he told her he was running to the corner market and coming right back and, well, he didn't. Taking without permission is stealing. And not "literally stealing" is still stealing.
