He'll have plenty of time to put her crazy arse in a retirement home of his choice. How about you cut the holier-than-thou act bullshite?

. Since it wasn't financed, full coverage wouldn't be required, right?

[quote]I'm 41 and my dad still buys my cars. I'm blessed.
Very blessed indeed. A few months back, my mom wanted to buy me a new car. I told her my husband needed a truck more than I needed a car, So I let hubby pick out the truck and then gave my car to my son and my explorer to my husbands son who has a new baby to transport.
My favorite vehicle is still my 1980 Toyota truck my uncle gave me when he died. I have wanted that truck since I was a kid. I love it so much. I will never get rid of it.
We rarely sell cars in this family, we just pass them on to someone who needs them.

OK, you're fricked.
What does she think you should be doing instead?

A ton of terrible advice in this thread... Hopefully most are trolling, but it seems like you have something against your mother deeper than her trying to control your schedule.. I thought this when you alluded to her "not working" and your dad being the "bread winner".. Do you have some hidden disdain toward your mother? Just seems like there is more to this story.. Btw all these morons telling you to be disrespectful to your mother are morons indeed..

There is more to this saga than we have been told...

She's just a bad mom. Always been a struggle. Still hasn't let me get my shite from her house.

What else you wanna know about the "saga"?

Good luck being single forever because no woman is good enough for "my little boy"...

My 19 year old daughter (no pics) still asks "Is it ok if I hang out with so and so? Can I spend the night at so and so's?"
Jesus. She's an adult. She has to ask you who she hangs out with? Maybe it's different for sons, but once I was 18, I didn't have to ask my parents shite. I'd come home for the summer and I came and went as I pleased. I told my parents if I was going to be gone for a few nights because that's just common courtesy, but I definitely didn't ask them who I could hang out with.

Meh. Not bad. Just misguided and a little controlling. Get some chick pregnant. That'll teach her.

No she doesn't have to. When she does my response is always "I don't know, can you?" I guess it just habit for her.
