It was new, different, and unexpected... of course a 6 year old is going to respond that way. Don't act like it's some inherent trait that even kids know that homosexuality is wrong. Do you think an adopted 6 year old of a same sex couple would react the same as your kid? No, but he sure as hell has the same odds of growing up to be straight.

Yes, because things like this is definitely a way to gain acceptance. I'm sure their thoughts were, "let's be as obscene and vulgar as possible, that way people will accept us." The parades are basically an attempt at IRL trolling. They do it to try to get people angry.

Exactly. It was a natural reaction they made towards things they didn't like. And that was my point... My son had never formed pros or cons regarding people being gay. It was a completely natural reaction. Not sure why that is so hard for some to understand.
