Love my baby girl!!!

Someone once told me- with boys, you have to worry about one penis - with girls, you have to worry about ALL penises

Really in my feelings about it.

Keep that in mind when she becomes a teenager and looks at you and the wife like you two are the lamest, dumbest people on the face of the Earth.

I told those very words to a younger friend of mine about 10 years ago and he recently told me "Damn, you were right" now that his 2 daughters are teens.

But, have no fear, they will generally come around eventually to see you were only looking out for their own good and doing what was best for them.

Good to feel that way now though. Oh, and you will always love them, but don't expect it in return between 13-19 most of the time----especially when you and the wife say "NO".

I feel bad for men that don’t get the chance to father girls. They’re the best.
My daughter came into the living room this weekend all dressed up and had marker on her face. She's 3.

She said "daddy will you marry me?"

Man I'm telling you I could have broke down and cried right there, that little girl has me so wrapped around her finger.

She's so sweet and innocent and full of hope. She's everything that's right in a fricked up world.

Tips from a pro

Treat her mother the way you would like your daughter to be treated one day. Show her how a man is supposed to act

Call her boyfriends by the wrong name. (The last boyfriend’s name if at all possible)

Congrats Dad.

This is coming your way.

Sitting at the breakfast room table, reading a baseball rulebook. One light on over the table. She walks in 15 minutes early as always. "Dad, you don't have to wait up for me." "Yes I do" "That means you don't trust me." "It's not you I don't trust. It's guys like me." She stands for a minutes, leans forward, kisses me on the forehead and says "Now I understand."

Arrive at the softball field. Late ...meeting. She is not there at Center Field. Not in the dugout. I walked over and asked "Where is Michelle?" "Coach! Coach! She got hit in the face by a line drive and is at the hospital." I rushed to the hospital. The coach I worked with was there. "Good, now I can leave. Tell me tomorrow what happens." Michelle looks at me and asks "Can I ask a question?" "Of course." "I want the truth." "No problem" "When you suddenly see a ball and know you can't stop it what is the last thing that goes through your mind?" "Truth huh?" "Truth" "Aw Shite" "Exactly what went through my mind!" Laughing I told her. "I believe that in some people, their last thought is Well damn, that didn't work as I thought it would."

Later in life she tells me "You cursed me." "I did what?" "Cursed me, you wished I had one just like me." "I did that?" "Dakota is just like me." "I did my job very well."

My 9 year old daughter has been a teenager since age 3. Seriously, extremely strong willed. Wouldn’t change a thing about her.
