Your old boss was in the Vietnamese Special Forces and was a Prisoner of War, or he was a military member incarcerated in a prison run by Vietnamese special forces?
Either way, which side was he on?

Every reveal should be on reality TV with a Maury like setting. I'd watch that all day forever.
and have a baby anteater or some shite like that running around
Maury's made a 30 year career out of paternity tests, wild teens, and Jack Hanna's animals

A friend in New Orleans had legally separated from his wife.
Not sure what that means under Louisiana law unless it happened a long time ago.
If you are married to a woman, you are presumed to be the father of her children. Finish the divorce.

The best way to piss them off is to SUCCEED! Be successful with the remainder of your life. The cheating was a symptom of larger problems in your relationship.

I'm sorry to hear about your situation. Cut ties now. You'll be happier later. But the first thing I'd do is to make sure the kid is actually yours. If she's cheating now, she probably did in the past as well.
Good luck. Make decisions with your brain and not your heart or penis.
Edit: I read the post. The kid isn't yours. Cut ties with her and her kid. Only misery to be had for you in this.

I agree with the not retaliating bit somewhat, but this is bullshite.
This kind of stuff changes a man. This is the sort of moment he will look back and say “it was then that something in me broke. I wasn’t the same person after that.”
For better or worse. But it isn’t some minor thing.

He already knows its not his. He started dating the whore after she was already pregnant and the biological baby daddy had bailed. Then somehow a woman he had only known for a couple months suckered him into putting his name on the birth certificate for a kid that wasn't actually his. That's why this thread is 35 pages and counting

Yeah, people tend not to forget about a person they were engaged to

Thus is sad. The OP did it to himself.

Did he say how old the daughter is? I am sure he loves her with all of his heart but there is a big difference between her being like 1 or her being say 5. Obviously the older she is the harder it will be.

Its not his daughter, is it? Or did I read that wrong?

No. And he started dating her when she was already/still pregnant.
He said this kid is a toddler, so 3 at the oldest.

No it is not his. You may have read what I wrote wrong because I didn't say it was.
