It's the me generation. I get sharing this with family and close friends, but nobody else remotely cares. This also applies to the chalkboard crap on your kids first day of kindergarten on what they want to be when they grow up.

That's real classy

I actually count the months since you know developmental milestones

Wow grown man bitching about months.

Once again it's very important in the child's first 3-5 years of development

Thank God no guys here practice pediatric medicine

That shite matters when they’re like 6 months, but it doesn’t matter when you’re telling people how old they are.

I think it can be reasonably said until 1 or maybe 18 months. I used weeks until mine was 3 months. he's 8 months now and I still say how many months he us.

Most people aren't asking how old a kid is to diagnose them with something.

Well if you ever have a child that's developmentally and intellectually delayed then please inform us since the chronological age doesn't reflect their age appropriate skill

Use weeks until the first month, and then months until two. Can't really say 1 year old and distinguish between the developmental ability of a 20 month old and a 12 month old. Literally walking, talking ,possibly potty trained compared to a good chance of having what still appears to be a full on baby. Closer to two you'll start saying "almost two", unless you are really talking to someone who cares, then you speak in months. At two, you just say two. Never ever said days except maybe that first week.

it's not like this is some new generation bullshite. It's been like this forever. All kid clothes is sized exactly this way.
