ETA: And I just wanted to add what a good guy your dad seemed to be. And he was really brave about his diagnosis. I know that he knew you loved him. Try to hang in there, even though it's hard. And come back and post here and have a laugh with us sometime.

I am so sorry for your loss and that you don't feel that you were able to say good-bye to your dad - as a parent, I'm sure that he knew/knows your feelings. Take care of each other and be his legacy.

wow i remember reading that thread and keeping up with it. This is terrible, i am so sorry for your loss and in shock myself.

I lost my dad 5 months ago... deepest condolences.
