I have done the flip them on the back deal and hold them until they don't squirm - gotta do it more than once or twice though. Hell I have bitten their ear to get my point across.

Dogs are pack animals and some dogs (not all) need to be shown who is the alpha.

Yeah but in dog years, that means you're giving them haymakers after 7.5 weeks. My general rule of thumb is "If they're old enough to open their eyes, they're old enough to see who's boss".

when you first get a new pup, bring them outside and show them your jacked up fawking truck. even some dumbass dog can tell who the fawking alpha is after that.

If you're truly an alpha, the dog will sense it and you won't have to do anything.
