Well that is a pretty good tip, if you ask me!

That's exactly what I meant it to be. Merry Christmas.

I can get better prices from the guy who sells steaks out of the back of his truck in the Mall of Louisiana parking lot.

Jeez, I did that once a long time ago. I guess that was mule meat. It was awful.

We use to have a really good butcher shop in the area, and we could get some really good steak and pork from him, at great prices. Unfortunately, he got caught at some illegal dealings and is no longer in business.
Now I have to go to the grocery stores.

Do they really? We don't have those commercials here. Once in a while, you will see a guy running around with a freezer in the back of his pickup though.

Somebody said that he sells a lot to the Mexicans that work at the chicken plant.

The Pig is a damn institution. Also love the reactions you get from people who aren't from here when you can fit the name in a story because it's so damn weird.

My little girl giggles like hell, when I ask her if she wants to go to The Pig.
Aint many places left, where you can still buy a tub of lard.

But if you freeze those steaks is it really worth it? I wouldn’t pay more than 1/3 of the normal price of a steak for something I’d have to freeze

I would’ve agreed with you a couple years ago, but my parents got a vacuum seal thing a while ago and when they freeze stuff you can’t tell the slightest difference.

It's the way to go, for freezing anything.

I really like beef better though, if it sits in the fridge a few days before I freeze it.
