He works in the oil field and he thinks he is about to get laid off. He is seriously thinking about selling his house and getting a tiny house around 250sq ft - 350sq ft for him and his wife. He said with how everything is going, he doesn’t want to stress about money and not being able to pay their bills. I like the idea of going smaller and saving more money but I can’t go tiny the way he is talking about. The smallest house I can live in is probably 800sq ft with a kid. When my wife and I got married, we lived in a 590sq ft apartment and it was not bad except the one bathroom part.

It’s just me and the wife and we’ve talked about this a bunch in the last few years. But I don’t think I’d would be a sellers market at this point, and if the virus situation gets really bad, the market could be flooded with houses for sale.

think in some ways it's a healthy thing to do because it forces you to only keep the things that really matter to you.

Or forces you to have less of the things you care about. Every fricking thing I own matters to me. If it didn’t I wouldn’t have it. And I have a lot of shite.

250 sq ft? So like an efficiency apartment? Just me and the wife could go really small if we didnt have kids. But i would still want like 600 sq ft absolute min.

Living in a travel trailer= trashy

I’m going from 3900 to 2100 in April. We got a miracle offer on our burden right when the shutdown started.

A big weight has been lifted off my shoulders.

When I was single I had a 1000 sq ft house. 2br/2bath. Small yard. I miss it.

This is a sure way to get your wife to file for divorce and then start having affairs with Jody and Chad.

He should make the whore get a job instead of moving into a fricking hut

Well
I had a neighbor that was a stay at home mom. They had 4 kids and she never worked more than a few hours a week as a teaching assistant.

Her husband works a lot of hours a week in a managerial position.

She constantly whores him out to do odd jobs here and there. Never has any free time.
