Silly, silly boy.
The market dictates price/cost.
My boss makes a ton of money. He should. He is the owner and started the company from scratch, risked it all and damn near failed twice. Now it is going pretty darn well and he is prospering. I don't begrudge a cent and I don't know what he makes and I could care less. But you apparently want him to openly communicate to the company how much he and the rest of us make and perhaps his net worth too.
To what end?
There will be nothing positive that would come out of that, nothing.
So, please define the free and open information that you desire that you subscribe to be the backbone of capitalism.
I'd love to hear it.

This happened to me a couple of years ago. He scanned the merit increases to my inbox. I don't think he ever realized his mistake and I never said anything. I used that as my personal justification for leaving a couple of years later when they failed to come up when someone left and I absorbed their responsibilities.
