Proximal or distal Fracture?

In general kids do great. They are already producing new bone.

Kids heal super fast. I broke a few bones as a kid and I was normal very quickly.

Was she trying to dunk or something?

Its pretty wild how tough kids are.

My dude broke his arm pretty good and he didn't cry or complain one time.

He rolled with the cast and used as a weapon for 6 weeks.

Zero fricks given.

My almost 2 month old son had his cicumcision yesterday. Holy frick it was hard to see the aftermath and hear him screaming in pain once the numbness wore off. I was thinking what the frick did I do to him yesterday. Doesn't look as horrible now that it's stopped bleeding.

Never had a broken bone before? Most of the time you're looking at 5-7 weeks in a hard cast. Because of his young age, doc might have him wearing a sling too to keep it immobilized better.

Yeah. First ER visit for one of your kids is a sobering experience. Mine made it well into his teens before his first trip, but he sure got my money's worth.

Why not get it done when he is a day or two old?

Dude, my son swelled up like a tomato when we discovered his peanut allergy the hard way. I got all emotional after. It's your kids man, those frickers get the best of you, literally.

Will probably have to amputate but the good news is that prosthetics have come a very long way in recent years. Plus when he gets older he won't even have to sit on his own hand to make it feel like someone else is jerking him off

Yeah. They'll put a cast on it and tell you to come back it about 4 weeks. You'll take him back, and they'll say let's give it about 2 more weeks.

Same but it was stitches in her eyebrow. God, that was awful. I managed not to cry but I was totally freaked out. Waited until she fell asleep at home and then cried my eyes out telling my husband about it.

Kids heal faster than adults - 3-6 weeks he'll be fine.
