I would tell them the truth and say their child is 100% welcome at your house, but your kid is not going there.

One of my very good friends 12 year old son was attacked in a neighbors house by the goodest boy ever. 10 year old Pitt that never harmed a flee basically bit his let arm off around the bicep area. They were playing video games at the time.
They were able to save his arm somehow but damn it was a mess. Kid is mid twenties now and still has a deformed arm.
My friend was like many on here. No bad dogs, only bad owners.
Probably been 15 years and both parents are more fricked up in the head than the son.
I’ll go get pictures of his arm and ball park figure on how much the hospital bills came up to. Let you and your husband decide if it’s worth the risk.
They had to sue the family of the dog owner.

That can happen with a monkey too. Hell why are you even taking your kid to the zoo???
Holy extra chromosome.

I clicked two of your links. The first one was a story from motherfricking China over a dozen years ago, and the Texas FB coach one didn't even occur at a zoo. Also, who tf mentioned having monkeys around are a good idea? Strawman argument.

Not when it comes to pit bulls. They are psychotic beasts who all need to be put down.

I’ve got a cousin who is a vet tech that also used to raise and train pits for competition. As soon as she got pregnant, she got out of that business immediately. She knew.

100. Had em my whole life, almost 50. Zero issues.
And the person who suggested giving them radiator fluid I hope rots in hell. Disgusting vile trash.

What kind we talking? A mutt skinny looking dog or one of those purebreds that has the head the size of an Abrahams tank?
Big dog make me nervous as shite but in my experience those big arse pits have always been better behaved than the smaller ones. If you see all these attack videos more often than not it’s the muttish looking ones.

I hope that dad walked over there and put a few rounds of justice into that dog

I think I’d meet the dog before coming to any decision!
This should be true if German shepherds and labs too—any big dog can be an issue.
Heck, a neighbor I grew up with had his faced mangled by a schnauzer.

He wanted to. But they knew where he was. They had been around the dog for several years.
They ignored all the warnings because this dog was so sweet.
And he was. Until he wasn’t. Dog owner gave him to relative in the delta.
