It would seem to me that at the funeral would be an opportune time for the families to strike out at the failed leadership of Baton Rouge.

They don’t blame the leadership…you should know by now whose fault it is.

I just think to myself, what are the odds this place will improve vs decline further? They aren't favorable imo.

Yea…I’ve completely given up on BR improving.

We’re retreating to a place where the mayor and city council all look like they own Fortune 500 companies.

I'm more of a cold weather, seasons & terrain fan so we'll go further north or west.

I was in a similar situation years ago. Looking back, I could never have predict how bad Shreveport has become.

Yeah and it seems we are at 135 now. That record will probably go down this weekend.

Remember, it’s Southern University’s homecoming weekend so they’ll be plenty of violence. There’s potential for a mass shooting.

If BR murder was a stock, it'd be 100% buy at this time.

There’s a drug “take back” event being held today at BRPD’s’s headquarters

I wonder how many people will show up?

I'm so happy we left (again) 5 years ago. Just got tired of complaining and aimed at a place we wanted to be. My family all still complain or pretend that their little bubble is the same as it was in 1989.
