I just got back here after spending a month in the midwest. Let me just tell you that as soon as I got back to the traffic and the way everyone drives and treats people here, I wanted to go back. I am actively looking to leave this city and when you spend any amount of time away you see it as clear as day how much harder is it to live here. The bitterness and anger and bullshite does not go on everywhere. Sure they have people that cut cats off of cars but the violent crime is next to nothing. BR can not be saved as long as the people getting elected keep getting elected and even then it is an uphill battle.

Here is the hard truth- Baton Rouge will never be better than it is right now.

Is this a good thread to continue to shite on California and act like Baton Rouge is God’s country?

Another empty statement from the mayor. Blah, blah, blah…

quote:

Mayor-President Sharon Weston Broome's office released the following statement Friday afternoon.

"Today, we have seen yet another troubling episode of gun violence shake the core of our community with a shooting along Bluebonnet Blvd. this afternoon. This violence affects the lives of everyone within our parish.

Please know Chief Paul and our Baton Rouge Police Officers are actively investigating the situation. This violence was not random, and BRPD is working to apprehend the perpetrators as quickly as possible. These acts of violence will not be tolerated.

I am asking the residents of East Baton Rouge Parish to keep the victims of today’s violence in your prayers.

Also, be aware traffic in this area is being diverted and it's best avoid the area if possible.

While we work to bring justice to the victims, we must understand that we cannot be controlled by fear. We must work together to identify those committing criminal activity and instill accountability, to create a safer community for everyone. Baton Rouge residents deserve to live in a community of peace. I am confident as we band together, we as a community can overcome these challenges for a better future."

So is True Bleeder the one who bled out on the backseat or the one laying on the road?

I see a lot of people posting that these videos are “hard to watch”, but are you saying that for the targeted victims or possibility of collateral damage?

For the targeted victims - they were pieces of shite but no one deserves to die like that - laying half way out of a car convulsing and vomiting because some other piece of shite had some stupid ‘beef’ with you and no respect for life. Those guys were still human and still someone’s sons. They weren’t brought up properly, but shouldn’t necessarily die like animals. God damn, how many bad decisions can you make by the time you’re 18 just to die like that?

ETA: the possibility of collateral damage makes it worse

It appeared he was the deceased individual lying in the grass, riddled with gunshots. Not sure who the guy was who was walking around with saggy pants down to this kneecaps.

And after watching some of the videos, I seriously question how people think that their “music” is good. It’s awful. No substance. A rehash of everything we’ve seen. It’s over produced and over-hashed. It SUCKS.

*some great hip hop no doubt. Not this BR no-talent nonsense.

Yeah strange I've had guns since I was about 12 years old but I've never shot anyone with them. Never even pointed one at a human being

I also have a stack of 100’s in my closet. I’ve never once shown anyone on social media. I would think I’m still alive because I yanno…be a bit humble.

We’ll see another retaliatory killing or killings very soon. You just hope innocent bystanders won’t get hit or killed in the crossfire.

Maybe today they’ll choose Whole Foods and give the Fleming’s crowd something to see.

Yep. And given their blatant disrespect for life - it might be ugly.

I'm willing to bet the survivors know exactly who did it and won't say anything to the police. If they get caught it will be because of social media posts or camera footage.

Broad daylight shooting at a busy intersection with multiple cameras/witnesses and no arrests yet?

I’ve seen 2 of the videos, but there’s got to be a third one from the guy filming in front of the mall sign. Is that one floating around?

Assuming they followed this vehicle from the mall than surely there are cameras all over the parking lot. But who knows if any of it is good footage. I'm always amazed how shitty some of the clarity still is on security cameras.
