I had a friend that still lived in Glen Oaks in the 80s. Sharon Hills right at Mickens and Hooper used to be a great middle class neighborhood. It's shite now obviously

And multiple residents of that neighborhood are ready to leave BR because of this trend.

Been here my entire life but I’m currently looking for opportunities far away from here. This is no place to raise kids.

I think we’ve all become desensitized to reading about these types of murders. But seeing these videos are different. These videos are painful to watch. They are another hard reminder that BR is spiraling out of control…and no one is doing anything about it.

I think it could only marginally improve but the long term trend will remain intact. It won't improve much in our lifetime. I'm looking to get my family out as soon as possible

You’ve been talking about leaving for forever and yet you’re still there. When are you gonna move? You got young kids in school or something?

I’ve been making excuses for years. Income vs cost of living ratio is insane here. And now I finally understand why. I’ve got a newborn and want more, but this just isn’t the place for them.

Once mine are out of HS, I'm outta here. Only reason I'm staying is bc of my ex wife who "wants to stay here so her kids know her Cajun culture"

I have no fricking clue as to why we are still here.

How much longer do the rich in their little enclaves in BR put up with this shite? The chamber, labi types? This is largely their fault along with Hillar Moore and 19th jdc judges combined with a society scared to call this shite out of for what it is.

Yep, if my ex would just vanish, I'd be in North Carolina in a heartbeat.

Pretty crazy to see thugs with such degree of planning to have a throw away car and getaway car ready.

It reminds you of the IHOP homicide/double shooting. The two IHOP cooks ripped off an NBR trap house. The thugs timed everything out from when the two cooks who were targeted took their smoke breaks, the tPOS crew somehow managed not to get caught in Siegen Ln traffic during the day, and even burned the car up in an effort to destroy evidence.

Brazen shite like this will keep happening.

That's not really criminal mastermind level stuff.

Nothing they can't learn off the latest rap videos

I was in the target parking lot when that happened and going down bluebonnet a few minutes before this one happened. I even saw the fire trucks turning onto bluebonnet from Jefferson. Maybe I should just take the hint and gtfo

I’d rather tell people I was born and raised in Pine, LA vs the second biggest shitstain on Louisiana. I’d take my chances with a wild cow vs a thug from the city that was probably raised by grandma.
